North Park Main Street Committees
North Park Main Street is supported by a volunteer Board of Directors. There are four volunteer committees that work together with the staff of NPMS to build a sustainable and complete community revitalization effort. All committee meetings are open to the public – if you are interested in getting involved, please feel free to join us via Zoom teleconference.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors meets on the second Thursday of every month at 9:00 AM. Open to the Public.
Section 1. GOVERNMENT.
The affairs of the corporation shall be conducted by the Board of Directors.
Section 2. NUMBER OF DIRECTORS.
The Board of Directors shall consist of a minimum of nine (9) Directors and a maximum of (17) Directors. To be a Director, you must satisfy one of the requirements below:
- Holders of a valid and fully paid City of San Diego Business Tax Certificate or businesses providing actual services within the North Park Business Improvement District
- Holders of a valid and fully paid County of San Diego Property Tax Certificate for the North Park Special Enhancement District (SED)
- For-profit and nonprofit businesses and organizations located in the North Park Business Improvement District
The Executive Committee is made up of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and North Park Main Street Staff.
The Executive Committee meets on the Friday prior to the Board of Directors Meeting each month at 9:00 am
This committee addresses special events and promotions in North Park. The General Public and all business owners are encouraged to participate. This committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 11 am.
