North Park Main Street Committees

North Park Main Street is supported by a volunteer Board of Directors. There are four volunteer committees that work together with the staff of NPMS to build a sustainable and complete community revitalization effort. All committee meetings are open to the public – if you are interested in getting involved, please feel free to join us via Zoom teleconference.

Board of Directors
**Due to the July 4 holiday, the July Board meeting will take place one week later on July 15, 2021 at 9:00 am.**
The Board of Directors meets on the second Thursday of every other month at 9:00 AM. Board meetings are completely open to the public.
Section 1. GOVERNMENT.
The affairs of the corporation shall be conducted by the Board of Directors.
Section 2. NUMBER OF DIRECTORS.
The Board of Directors shall consist of up to fifteen (15) but not less than nine (9) directors (per board action dated September 15, 1995). The immediate past president shall be a member of the Board of Directors. The criteria for the Directors shall be as follows:
- Eight (8) Directors shall be representatives of property owners paying the North Park Property and Business Improvement District assessment:
- One (1) Director shall be a person who resides in the North Park Property and Business Improvement District but does not own any interest in or work for any business that is subject to the parcel assessment;
- Five (5) Directors shall be representatives of business owners paying the North Park Business Improvement District assessment;
- One (1) Director shall be a representative of and Associate BID member
Maintenance and Beautification
This committee addresses issues of aesthetics in the built area and streetscapes of the North Park Property and Business District and the North Park Business Improvement District. Topics / projects addressed in this committee include enhancements to services and facilities as well as beautification projects, public art, wayfinding signage, street furniture, trees, sidewalks, and special projects.
The Maintenance and Beautification Committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of every other month at 9:00 am
Promotions and Marketing
This committee addresses issues related to North Park businesses reopening after COVID-19 related shutdowns. The General Public and all business owners are welcome to participate.

This committee focuses on the planning and production of North Park Main Street Events.
The Events Committee meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 10:00 am
Transportation & Mobility
This committee addresses issues related to transportation and mobility in North Park such as parking, walkable streetscapes, and alternative transportation modes.
MEETING DATES: Currently on hiatus
The Executive Committee is made up of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and North Park Main Street Staff.
The Executive Committee meets on the Friday prior to the Board of Directors Meeting each month at 9:00 am
