DESCRIPTION:Resturant Owners: Farmers are having a hard time right now\, and restaurants have the power to support them and restore the climate. \nZero Foodprint\, a James Beard award-winning nonprofit\, is inviting San Diego restaurants to join their upcoming campaign\, Unfork the Planet\, running from April 7-13. This initiative supports local farmers by funding their transition to regenerative practices. \nParticipating restaurants can join for a low $75 fee\, which goes directly into the grant fund. They can either feature a climate-smart dish for the week or pledge $1 per an existing menu item. All participating restaurants will be featured on an interactive map and promoted on social media. \nMany San Diego businesses have already joined: 31ThirtyOne\, Herb & Wood\, Herb & Sea\, The Fishery\, Finca\, Wayfarer Bread\, Dija Mara\, Bivouac\, Kingfisher and counting.
