Promotion Committee

The Promotion Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers whose job is to market the assets of North Park Main Street and downtown North Park.  The Promotion Committee sells the unique characteristics of North Park to investors, shoppers, visitors, and new businesses.  Through advertising, retail promotional activity, special events, and marketing campaigns the Promotion Committee works hard to create an image of downtown North Park, a unique destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Some of the projects of the Promotion Committee include the North Park Festival of the Arts, an annual street celebration that features five stages of entertainment and over five blocks of excitement, and the North Park Holiday Party, our annual winter celebration.  The Promotion Committee is also involved in the North Park Banner Program,  which promotes local businesses while presenting a unified visual theme to the neighborhood.

An exciting promotion organized independently of North Park Main Street by North Park merchants is Ray at Night.  This monthly gallery walk is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every second Saturday of the month.

The Promotion Committee meets on the first Wednesday of the month.  If you want to view agendas from the Promotion Committee click here.

If you are interested in volunteering on the Promotion Committee, or if you would like to contact the Promotion Committee please call (619) 294-2501 or e-mail npbid@northparkmainstreet.com.
