Since opening day on April 5, 2001, the North
Park Thursday Night Market has exploded into the evening scene of
North Park. Here
you’ll find the finest selection of fruits and vegetables in
season from apples to zucchini. You
can also buy the freshest flowers, fish, olives, breads, nuts,
tamales, empanadas, bratwurst, cheese, crêpes and so much more.
And don’t miss the exciting arts and crafts vendors!

The North Park Thursday Night Market occurs every
Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Granada and University avenue.
More than just a market, it is a gathering place to meet
friends and members of the community, get the latest information on
local events and projects, and celebrate being part of the same
neighborhood.
Not
to be missed is the First Thursday Giveaway
at 6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month. Just stop by the North Park Main Street information booth
from 4:00-6:00 p.m. for a free ticket, then be present at the
information booth at 6:00 p.m. to win!
Every month we give away fresh fruits and vegetables,
flowers, food, gift certificates to local businesses, tickets to
local shows and attractions, and gift baskets.

Shopping
at the Thursday Night Market emphasizes our strong ties to the land
and to our neighbors, restores pride in our homegrown products and
our work, and helps our economy and our Californian way of life.
So stop by every week to shop, meet your
neighbors, and support your community at the North Park Thursday
Night Market.

"Where 29th hits North Park
Way, you come to this, like, medieval market in the middle of the
street. A huddled row of tents and
tables stacked with organic
veggies and people sauntering and smells of fruit and smoked fish
and a guy named Kwame
selling incense sticks."
