North Park Festival of the Arts!
The 11th Annual North Park Festival of the Arts returns
on Sunday, May 20th,
2007 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This FREE neighborhood event
is an explosion of arts, culture and entertainment that takes
place in downtown North Park, along University Avenue between
30th
and 32nd Street. Your day will have something for everyone
including breathtaking art, live entertainment, scrumptious food, and
all types of entertainment. It’s an artistic cultural

Farmers Market
Returns to North
Park
North Park's weekly farmers market has returned to a new
location on the CVS Pharmacy parking lot at 31st Street and

themselves on the requirements of ADA compliance.

has allowed North Park Main Street to provide his in-depth
article about what can happen to businesses that are
not in compliance, what needs to be done to avoid legal action, and what
resources business owners can draw upon to make sure that their business is

North Park Main
Street Hires New Assistant Director
North Park Main Street, on June 8, hired Robert Powell to
be the new Assistant Director of North Park Main Street.
He will be following Richard Kurylo who served as Assistant
Director for over eight years. (more)
La Boheme (North Park) Condominiums
Located at 30th Street, Lincoln Avenue, &
Ohio Street, the La Boheme project will be the largest development to be built in North Park in generations.
Western Pacific
Housing, a subsidiary of D.R. Horton,
the nation’s largest homebuilder, will build a mixed-use
project that will include over 200 residential units and

The Farmers Market has Moved to Granada
and University Avenue
North Park's weekly farmers market has moved from its old
location to Granada and University Avenue. This was done
to facilitate the construction of the new parking structure at
30th and North Park Way. (more)
