Angela Landsberg, Executive Director

Angela Landsberg is a native San Diegan and long time North Park resident. She spent much of her childhood in North Park, and is currently raising her family here.

Angela earned a BA in Communications from San Diego State University and a Master’s in Education from National University.  She brings a diverse skill set to North Park Main Street, including extensive community advocacy, local political work, and education.  She was Campaign Manager for (now Senator) Christine Kehoe’s re-election campaign for City Council in 1995, and  went on to work as a Legislative Representative in the District 3 City Council office following their successful campaign.

Angela shifted her professional focus to education in 1999, and began a working as a teacher in the San Diego Unified School District, working for schools in City Heights, Logan Heights, and Point Loma.   Her focus areas included: San Diego History, English Language Learners, and she was a vocal advocate for program support in San Diego’s public schools.

Following the birth of her two daughters, Madeline and Sara, Angela took a break from work to spend time with her children.  During that hiatus, she worked diligently on restoring, and receiving Mills Act historic designation status for her

Angela is intensely connected to the North Park community, frequents many of the local businesses, spends time in Bird Park, and is troop leader for her daughters’ Girl Scout Troop. She is excited to start this new chapter of her life as the small business & historic preservation advocate for downtown North Park.

Jillian Wolter, Executive Assistant

Jillian Wolter, a native of Los Angeles, has made San Diego her home for the past seven years.  She has profound gratitude for San Diego’s healthy, vibrant community and the people who work hard to keep it that way. A graduate of the Urban Studies and Planning program at University of California, San Diego, she is committed to strengthening communities and improving quality of life during her career.

While attending UC San Diego, Jillian continued her path as a community leader, serving two terms on Eleanor Roosevelt College Student Council and Vice President of External Relations for the National Panhellenic Association, advocating on behalf of the University’s sorority women. Additionally, Jillian was chairman of the Leadership and Nominations Committee for Phi Beta Phi, and she continues to volunteer as the Treasurer of the Housing Corporation Fund.

A resident of University Heights, Jillian works to preserve the healthy, active lifestyle of North Park while striving to bring new ideas, programs, and public spaces to the community.
