North Park Main Street: Staff

Angela Landsberg, Executive Director
Angela Landsberg a native San Diegan, grew up in the neighborhood of North Park. She began her position as Executive Director of North Park Main Street in 2011 after years of work in the community. Landsberg started working in communities in San Diego in 1995 serving as a legislative representative for Councilwoman Christine Kehoe. Working at City Hall, she was a liaison between the San Diego Unified School District and 3rd Council District. Her experience inspired her to pursue a career as an educator. While working in schools Angela became a vocal advocate for funding education programs to enrich the lives of all students. Angela’s commitment to schools and communities drew her to be a part of the revitalization efforts occurring in her own mid-city neighborhood where she has spent the past 25 years as a resident. This involvement drew her back to work in the capacity of serving the community through her position as Executive Director of the Business Improvement District. Angela is interested in local issues, and committed to supporting those causes that create a progressive and diverse community for businesses and residents. Angela enjoys all that her city has to offer by spending time at the beach and parks with her two daughters, Madeline and Sara and their two furry pets Rosebud and Comet.
